Monocular Buying Advice
I want to buy a monocular for my son to use when Bow hunting. He's 14 and as with all kids will need something good but not irreplaceable - if you know what I mean
I also want one to use on the boat, I prefer a telescope to binoculars
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
What zoom/lens size?
I've seen a Tasco 16x40 one which should give good light, but then there's also a Bushnell 15-50 x 21.
Too many choices and not enough knowledge

You'd be alot better off buying binoculars instead. They are easier to adjust to your eyes when you throw them up and you can spend any amount you want on them. You dont have to spend a ton of money to get a decent pair. Hell Half Hitch in Destin had a bunch of pairs of Tasco for $6 and they would be decent for bowhunting.
