Default Monarch Butterflies

Article in the PNJ today asked people who go offshore to send information. Researchers at UWF are trying to figure out if the butterflies mostly hug the coast or go across in the winter to Mexico. Send info to Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation. The email is [email protected]. They want to know date, time, coordinates and which direction the monarch is heading. Amazing the distance for something that small to make it across the gulf.

I have seen them way out in the middle of the gulf in green canyon before at work... I don't think they hug the coast based on that

I tend to agree with you. Next time that you see them send the coordinates to UWF. They are gathering evidence for publication.
