Default mikes outdoor 29 north

I had a horrible experience at this store this weekend and wondered if anyone else ever had any issues there. The older gentleman behind the counter was a real know it all done it all kind of guy. He went on to explain how he reloads his own ammo and doesnt measure or way any powder charges. I really hope he does not lead any of his customers who are new to reloading in the wrong direction. This kind of thing could lead to severe injury or even death. I hope this was just my experience. To that guy behind the counter........

What would be my motivation for lying about this??? Mikes outdoor is a well stocked store with quality products. So if he has one employee who does not value the quality of his business, it could have an effect on the stores business and sales.

I too was treated like crap in the store about 16 years ago. I don't care if i have to do without for the rest of my life for a product before i buy it there! Total butt hole i delt with. I can't repeat what i told him! Go to Outcast and get what ever you need. If they don't have it i'll wait till i die before i go to MIKES GUN SHOP even if they have 20 on the shelf.
Not that i hold a grudge or anything!

There are some very grumpy old birds that work there and then there are some really nice ones. Unfortunately, you just don't know who is going to be working that day, which does make me tend to not go there unless I have to. I have learned which trucks belong to the nice ones, so if there in the parking lot - I might swing in for a look.

Add me to the list of potential "customers" that would not darken their door again. Yeah, I had a bad experience too.

I went there for one of their special sales, ya know the ones where they include a advertising supplement to the PNJ. In the ad they had a sale on target 9mm ammo. I drove from Gulf Breeze on the Monday after the ad came out on Sun. When I went to purchase the ammo the were limiting purchases to 1 box! OK, the ad did say that "quantities may be limited", but c'mon, 1 box! Most reputable businesses will put in the ad what the limitation on quantities is if they have one. Obviously, the ad was just to get you in the store. That was the last time I was in the store and I will never go back again. I'll go somewhere else and pay more than ever go back to them again.

Well, I hate to hear about everyone's bad experiences at Mike's. I am in that store all the time and I've only had 1 or 2 not so good experiences but it was with some workers that are no longer there. In my opinion it is a great store with good products at a reasonable price.
