thanks for the info. I have wanted to do this for a while. I have a problem. I can get to this part "<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'">On your desktop, right click the icon and click ?rename?at the end of the file name there should be a ?a? change just this one letter to a ?r? and hit enter on the keyboard. ( it should look like this ?Livin' Part of Life 1.m4r? now)"

<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'">

<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'">Now I dont get the option to change the m4a part of the file just the name. :banghead

Instead of putting the new file on your desktop, put it into a folder. Open the folder and click on the word TOOLS at the top. Click on folder options and make sure you uncheck the box next to the red arrow. This will allow you to change just the file extension. Then drag it into the ringtones section and it will sych up when you plug your Iphone in.

Hope that helps!

A much easier and still free way is to upload your song onto this website, but most songs are already on there. www.audiko.net
