Default Major League Catchers

Watching the Braves and the Cardinals this evening.
I swear it looks like the Braves catcher has his nails painted.
I guess so the pitcher can see the signals better?
Cards have had a bad month of May, hope they rally tonight.

This being Memorial Day in Pensacola could send this whole thread sideways.

I haven't watched much baseball since the days of Maddux, Glavine, Avery, Smoltz, Wohler, and Chipper Jones. It is still crazy that they only won one World Series during that time.
Yellow River Cat and MikeH like this.

Stopped watching in 96 when alomar spit on the ump. Always like him till then. Him and Sandberg were my favorite 2nd baseman.

After that incident and the response I lost all respect for MLB.

I quit watching when they went on strike instead of playing the World Series.

This is what a 104 mph fast ball looks like zooming by your head.
