Default Losing Weight.

Hello fellow PFFer's. Im sure there are some of you on here that are smart in the ways of working out and being fit and whatnot. I have a question. My friend and I are going to Districts for weightlifting this coming Monday and in order for my friend to compete he has to weigh under 129 lbs. He currently weighs 135. He thinks he is going to loose the weight all monday morning by not eating, taking laxatives, and running before the weigh in, and peeing out all his water weight. I do not think this can work. Does it sound possible? Id love any advice from yall. I wanna see him be able to compete and do well. Thanks for any advice or replies.

Get you some boxes of onion soup mix at Walmart or Foodworld $1 a box. Inside is 2 packages. Each makes one quart of onion soup and broth. Then get a head of green cabbage. Cut into 1" chunks, add all you want to the soup. Get a can of peeled tomatoes, add all you want. Get a couple bell peppers, cut into 1 inch chunks, add all you want. Get some leeks, cut into chunks, add all you want. Bring a huge kettle to a rolling boil. Turn off and steep with cover on. Eat all this fat burning soup you want. In 7 days one will lose about 10lbs. If he works out and eats all this soup he wants, he will lose it faster. He will be continually hungry and eat a lot of soup. Easy to make and easy to lose weight with. I lost 38# in 40 days eating this without working out.

Cutting 7lbs should be easy. I used to have to cut it. Two days before just take in very little water and no no no carbs. Also wear a sweat suit the morning of the weigh in. He'll lose a lot of water. We used to wear one while chewing gator gum and spitting as much as we could. As soon as the weigh in is over he's got to rehydrate. Don't take laxatives, he might poop while lifting. Also, don't be dumb about it. He won't have to at completely starve himself but take it lightly. A plain spinach salad will keep the energy up as will small grilled chicken breast. Just remember that protien is heavy and carbs stay with you longer.

+1 Used to loose 20 - 25 lbs a year to wrestle. Lived on water pills. Like Woody said, rubber suit and running will drop 2-4 pounds in an hour. Done it many times. Always felt like crap though til after weigh-ins and then we would drink gatorade and eat like it was going out of style....til the next day and it would start all over again.
