Default On the lighter side of the news...

Well, February 5th marked the 1 year anniversary of when I was first diagnosed with testicular, lymphatic, and lung cancer. So, I decided to spend my "anniversary" in the hospital getting my various blood work and diagnostic imaging done. Found a few cysts in my chest (pecs) (which, although pronounced benign, could potentially (very small chance) turn into breast cancer! You know God hates you when he gives you (a man) testicular cancer and breast cancer! haha) but otherwise a clean bill of health. Complete remission. Cancer left me very anemic and my nose and inside of throat/mouth tends to bleed real randomly, and that looks like it has finally come to a standstill as well. Praise God. Thanks to all the cards, emails, phone calls, visits, etc. from everyone on the PFF while I was battling for my life last year.

P.S. A VERY special thanks to Driscoll (off route), Wade (downtime2), Dave Williams (sparky), Bob ([email protected]), Chris Herring (tripleblessing), Scott Brown (brnbser), Bill (Ironman472), Jason (jaster), David Ridenour (David Ridenour), David (dpewitt), Chris Couture (Chris Couture), my boss, Orange Beach Marina, and anyone else I may have forgotten

Damn, Woody...I had no idea. I guess this being my 1st year on this forum, I just never heard about it before. I really hate to hear about your situation...you've been dealt a tough hand. But, at the same time, its good to hear you're doing better...Hope and pray you stay that way. With your outgoing & adventurousnature, you're handling things well...thats the only way I'd have to deal with something like you're in...live life to the fullest...aka: hunting, fishing, chasing skirt, and a good bottle of whiskey.

Good Luck Brotha!
