Sewage and water. I have the notice laying around my office somewhere. They were going for more, but it was cut back, but still an increase.

Beware of the digital meter, man. Seriously. They messed up ours and started "estimating" what they thought our bill should be. It's one of the few times that I have told a customer service person to f--k herself. She blamed it on us. They never alerted us to an issue and never came out to fix the meter that they installed.

Gulf Power's little "go green" gadget is a POS, too. The thermostat never worked properly and the online option didn't work either. That was another fun chat. My pool pump was running 24 hours a day and there was no way I could stop it. The heat would come on in June.

My bills vary wildly but thank God we have gas heat. Sounds cynical but I hate the entire company (Southern Company) and consider them a necessary evil. Ah, I feel like Clark Grizwold after his Christmas rant. Pass the Tylenol.

229.00 for me. This time of the year it usually runs about 130.00. Had to run the emergency heat for awhile till the heat & a/c guy got out here to fix it. Been a cold year.

$160 for us. But I'm in a brand new home. It's amazing how much less electricity these new heat pumps use. Our emergency heat never came on and our house is very insulated. Highest ours has been in the two years we've been in this house has been $172. And this is with wife and kids home all day too.

Mine is ridiculous compared to last year. But it is much colder this winter. And I added a girlfriend and a 5 yr old. Last January was $78. This January $179.
