Lawyers who handle LLC filings
Can anybody recommend a reputable lawyer that can help with forming a new LLC? Working on a new business venture and need to put this under an LLC vs what I have now.
Looking for a lawyer in the Ft Walton, Niceville, Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, Freeport area.
Thank you in advance

I've done three over the years and never used a lawyer. Unless you really want to make things complicated.

Kerry Anne Shultz in Navarre and she is very reasonable on her rates.
Her energy level is off the charts!

We used our accountant setting up our LLC. Not sure which is cheaper though honestly.

I just did one myself, two months ago, it isn't hard.
Go to Florida Sun Biz, and walk through it, pay the fee of about $95.
In a few days, you will get your LLC.
Then submit to IRS for your Employer Identification Number.

After that, purchase whatever liability insurance you need, and local Business License.

She is great as well, if you want to pay someone.

Never thought of our accountant.
Thanks Mr Fish, I thought about trying to go at it by myself. After looking at the paperwork it just seems I`ll forget something. Sunbiz site even recommends using a lawyer. Maybe that`s the plan for the lawyers to make more money.

Had mine fir 20 years, my wife and I did it and have kept it since. She and I handle everything, taxes and all

ditto what BananaTom said. and do it yourself, submit to IRS for EIN. It's easy.

Just did one myself. No need for a lawyer. Then an EIN number. Just takes about two weeks or so. Easy
