Default Komado Joe

I stopped in to look at a Big Green Egg (BGE) today. The dealer had the BGE, Primos and the Komado Joe cookers in stock. At first the BGE and the Komado Joe cookers looked the same to me except for the color. The dealer was able to point out a few things that were different between the two, but I'm actually leaning toward the Komado Joe.

Has anyone had the chance to compare the BGE and the Komado Joe? Pros/Cons?

If you looked at Backyard Oulet, leave and see Sky and get a BGE from him. I bought my XL from them and afterward I bought a platesetter from Backyard Outlet, it broke into after 3 uses, took it back and they would not warranty it. Then I called BGE company they said talk to the dealer. I told them my story and they even tried talking to Backyard Outlet no luck. Short story long, I have to get a new platesetter from BGE themselves and only pay for shipping. Sky at Escambia Motors will beat Backyard Outlet prices too I bet.

Backyard Outlet in FWB is where I stopped yesterday. They had the BGE and the KJ sitting side by side and at first I would have thought they were the same except for the color.

Where is "Escambia Motors" located?

Ecambia Electric Motors is in Pensacola. My XL BGE I believe was $888 or something like that, I also bought the ash scraper and electric fire starter. The best deal was a small shop vac I bought for $10, it's good for cleaning out the ash and then put the hose on the other sie for a blower and really get the coal burning.\

Tod - Did you buy a "nest" for your grill or did you make some type of table? I'm looking to be out the door and cooking that weekend.
