That was a pretty good match.
One thing about aggressive fighters is they tend to leave an opening for the thinker to take advantage of. Congratulations on the win.
Where does he train? One of my best friends owns Gracie Jiu Jitsu of Pensacola.

Sniper, will you agree that if the thinker ain't a fast thinker, he is in jeopardy?

Now to watch the match!

I saw a fight where the guy didn't submit due to pride and the arm bar turned into an arm broke. His arm never healed right. No shame in tapping out.

And yes, I agree Hotdog. A slow thinker would be in jeopardy

In the EARLIEST days before I ever heard the term MMA, there were little to no gloves and it was common to see teeth flying and in one sactioning body, you had to "tap the mat" for the most part. Might have been one of the elder Gracie boys who flipped himself upside down on a standing opponent and had his whole body locked on the guy's arm... Guy goes to tappin' on the fighter but TOO LATE!!! It almost looked like the broken arm was the planned out come.

But back then elbows to any part of the head even while laying on the mat was fair game as was full kicks on a down opponent...

Then the sport nearly died due to no venues allowing them any longer...

I used that well worn fuzzy VHS to teach my 6 year old son a few moves he could use to stop a bully without it being noticed as a strike by the teachers...
