Before the wrecks start! I just had a lady in a minivan Flip me the bird and honk at me while driving 25 in the right hand lane over the Davis highway/I110 cover leaf. I'll be sure to honk and wave when I see you in a ditch a mile down the road. Be careful, ice has started and bridges go first. Here is my mailbox in north central pensacola 15 minutes ago.

Ive been saying it all day. Living in KY we got our fair share of ice storms and snow storms. Snow isnt a problem to drive on if youve done it before. Ice on the other hand is IMPOSSIBLE to drive on. I dont care if you think you have the biggest baddest 4-wheel drive mud truck this side of Crestucky, it wont do nothing but end up in a ditch or worse on ice. Good luck every one and be safe. Its going to get bad. Just because youre cruising fine one minute doesnt mean the next over pass or even under ground culverts your dont see wont have a layer of ice on it. If you do slide dont hit the breaks or over correct. Be buckled up and hope for the best!

My upper screens are almost solid and I'm out near Grand Lagoon. The palms sound like pellet guns are being fired at them.
