i can say i have had the droid 2 droid and iphone. i hated verison with a passion and at the pace store across from homedepot i went thru 7 droid 2's 2 bravoda's (sp) and 2 droid x's before i went to the iphone. my problem with the driods was nothing to do with internet or android issues.. it was simply horriable call quality just unacceptable and i couldnt have it. like their comm. goes with the guy " can you hear me now.... can you hear me now? good?....." thats how i was with the verizon phones i had and grant you this was all within a 13 day time frame verizon took care of me ect so the pace store had excelent customer service just crap call serice.. i do have their mi-fi for my mobile internet and its awsome.
now i am useing a iphone3g its not on att i have it on simple mobile for 60 per month unlimited everything and with my mi-fi for faster internet i can not complaine but all bs aside i wish i didnt want a droid and just left well enough along and continued with boost mobile with the i1 i was with and got the mi-fi to extend its uses.. so for the phones it depends do you want calls and little internet or massive internet and poor calls

I have the Iphone4 and I love it but you need to buy the apps that come with the driod. Like talk to text and so on. I love the iPhone in any case.

I have the Iphone4 and 3 guys at work have the Droid. My personal opinion is the droid is easier to use when dealing with apps and such. Internet tethering is a bonus for the droid also along with the hotspot. I had it on the Iphone but it cost me $20 extra a month, I didn't jail break it, so I dropped that service. Just didn't use it enough.

As far as Pixs and video Iphone wins hands down. Being on the water a lot we take a lot of pixs and videos. My friends prefer the Iphone over the Droid, so do I after looking at their pixs and mine.

I tunes can be a pain but I'm just learning the phone and Itunes. After I uploaded songs to Itune loading them to my phone was easy. This are songs off CD's that I bought and loaded them to Itunes. I didn't download from Itunes store. Why pay for what I already have bought.

I would say that you can get into trouble with the Iphone if you don't know what you are doing and PLAY (lol) with it. I lost all my contact data, pixs, vids, EVERYTHING....... When I deleted my cache. I thought it was just for the internet, NOPE its the whole phone. All I could do was call 911. Couldn't even call ATT with the phone. A quick hook up to Itunes and phone worked again but I had to put contacts back in manually because I hadn't never downloaded Itunes for it to save them. I lost all my pixs though out in never, never land.

Having problem with something called Bonjour on Itunes now. I did something to it but it wasn't Itunes or the Iphones fault. AGAIN, you can get into trouble PLAYING with your Iphone. LOL!!! I'm learning as I go about backing up stuff so when I screw things up I can retrieve it. The Iphone is in my opinion a computer with calling capabilities. Like all smartphones but a little more touchy.

My vote would be Iphone if you want quality, Droid for easy use. I mean the phone is a phone. The Iphone can do just about ANYTHING. I now only carry one device. The phone is my camera, camcorder, ipod, phone, GPS unit for navigation and could be the book reader but I got a Kindle for Christmas so I prefer the bigger screen.

I have the cheap plan Family, 2 phones, internet (2G and haven't came close yet) 575 minutes (Rollover), and 200 texts for $79 a month. That's the Final bill after taxes.

Iphone4 works better for me for what I want to use it for. That should be the driving factor to which you buy. If you are not gonna be taking a lot of pixs and vids with it I would go with the droid. I'm sure the droid has Ipod on it and don't know if you would use it. I use mine a lot while working so it really comes in handy and saved me $200 from not buying a Zune.
