Look on Craigslist under "Farm and Garden". I got a couple of Barred Rock chicks from Mark on CL two weeks ago and they were only 3$ each. Also, you may want to build a Chicken Tractor, (google it), to keep them in.

Junior has some stag "show chickens" I will ask a price when he gets home but $3 won't touch these "pit bulls" of the chicken world...

Might could get you a good deal on a silky or two, any certain breed in mind? I have rhode island reds X2 and love the eggs, they are the only pet I have that pays for themselves, lol!

can't understand why you would want a pet chicken.
can you get them to do tricks? do they roll over and play dead?
do they sit up and beg? i'll bet they can count to five, huh?
get a rooster and you won't need an alarm clock. good cluck finding one?
