That was a b&h contracting dump truck, they had a concrete plant in the holt industrial park.

Neither the company or the concrete plant are still in existence.

Have they lowered the bar on the requirement for getting a CDL recently?

I wouldn't haul my bay boat through that tunnel. Too many folks in the other lane that are scared of the sides. Almost lost my mirror a few times in there.

That's nothing new for the Mobile tunnel. Happens about every 3 months or so.
Seriously.

I would say due to the recurring hits the state will most likely install an over height warning light system, but I doubt that it will stop this from happening. Drive north on 110 and get on I 10 headed west notice all the flashing lights and signs clearly posted 45 mph rollover hazard. I believe we're averaging 2 a month. As stated in a previous post the drivers forget to disengage the pto and the bed slowly lifts and they don't see it at night. The older model trucks either don't have the warning system to tell drivers the bed is up or they're not working. Nothing can be installed over the roadway like at McDonald's as this is viewed by ambulance chasers as the state creating a traffic hazard.
