Holy crap! And he did it against the TEXANS! WOWZERS! Too bad the Texans defense is ranked 30th overall, and 32nd (that would be dead last) in passing. Let me know how good Tebow is when he starts a full season. We should get a good idea next year.

i know wes...you people are infatuated with him...like i said, it all remains to be seen....i hope he does well and i hear all the character implications and i agree...by the way, whoever said it, the raiders are a pretty good team and would kick any bcs team's butt...some people need to get real...

on another note, my daughter works at beef o bradys on mobile highway and they just told me derrick brooks has been there all day...my kids are fsu fans and my son has a bucs tat and my daughter has a fsu tat...

my son talked to him and derrick asked him why he liked the bucks and johnny said since 97' because of warrick dunn...now talk to me about character...timmy is on his way but, he has some really BIG shoes to fill to be compared to warrick and derrick...nuff said...

mike

the tebow haters said he could not play QB at all!!!! oh yea he could be converted into a TE or fullback.

now it is well he is playing the last place teams. hello...he is on the LAST PLACE TEAM!!!!!

any team above him would be better than the team he is on.

if you saw his two starts you have to now say he can play in the NFL as a QB...will he be great? only time will tell us that.

i just love how the haters are now changing and find new obstacles he most go through to prove himself.

I think he has played pretty well his last couple of starts, no reason to poo poo his efforts. Next year will be interesting.

I haven't found any new obstacles for him, I'm just being a realist. Just because he won a game against an awful defense doesn't make him great, doesn't mean he can play QB. Jason Campbell has good games every once in a while. Jamarcus Russell had good games. Where is he? JP Losman won some games. Steve Deberg made a career out of being a backup. You have no idea what he's going to do or where he's going to go, and neither do I. My only contention is that I sincerely doubt he'll be a great QB in the NFL, based on what I've seen. Denver does have one thing going for them, and that's fantastic receivers. Now, yes, he does have to deliver them the ball, but he also did so when they were down, and it was throw, throw, throw, throw. Ben Roethlisberger went 14-1 as a rookie. I don't see Timmy doing anything like that. Look at Matt Ryan. Kid walked in from day 1 and looked like a true NFL QB, and has proven that. Time will tell with Tebow, but I will still dislike him for numerous reasons beyond his abilities.

Ben Roethlisberger also had "The Bus", excellent receivers, a stellar defense, and a hall of fame coach. As evidenced by the fact that his Super Bowl win came despite the fact that he had the worst stats of any quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl. Football is one of the last few true team sports, and to be victorious players must be able to thrive within their respective systems.

This is true, but Ben has proven he can win without all of that as well, and is a borderline elite QB. Also, he won that Super Bowl in his second season. The only bad game he had his rookie year was against the Patriots in the AFC CG. All that aside, I've simply grown weary over the last two weeks hearing about Tebow like he's a Manning, Brady, Brees, etc. He may win games, but he'll never be that kind of elite quarterback, just don't see it. I also live in Jacksonville, the land of all things Tebow. It has reached nauseating levels this year.
