Default I QUIT!!!!

At the Raft up I met Mike(getsome) and he told me hat he was using Chantix to quit smoking, well I went to the doctor and had him prescribe me some and now after over 25 years and 3-4 packs a day I have not had a ciggarette since Tuesday at lunch. I have tried all the other patches, gums, zyban but I am very impressed with this stuff. The doc also gave me a scrip of Cymbalta to take and said that it will help with the anxiety that goes along with it. I can honestly say that I dont even want to smoke even when guys around me smoke all day, and YES for all of you that were non-smokers before I quit , the shit does stink :banghead

I must admit that I have alot more energy also now and I guess the medicine helped because I am not coughing at night like I used to.

Anyone that is considering to quit I reccommend giving this stuff a try. And no I am in no way a representative of pfiser.

Sam,

I have no doubt that you can continue with your decision to not smoke. You'll be surprised and very much pleased at how much better your life will be.

I quite 6 years ago using Zyban and it was one of the most importantaccomplishments in my life. Although I feel better than ever, I did pick up a lot of weight (I've always been pretty heavy) but now I'm working on that and I'm down 30 lbs. since the first of this year.

There are a lot of benefits to be gained when you quit.....you've already mentioned several, but of course I had one that most people wouldn't. Beverly, my wife, told me that she would sell my boat if I didn't quit or if I started back. I've still got a boat and I don't regret quitting at all. Some folks just need a little extra incentive to do the right thing.

Thanks for the happy birthday wishes earlier this week,

c.w.
