Default I-10 closure........12/10

Does anybody know why the interstate was closed from hwy29 west? They only had one trooper standing by his car with his lights on and directing evetone to Hwy29. I'd hate to be traveling and not have a clue where I was and suddenly sent off the interstate with no direction or reason why. Anyway .....anybody know what was up? I can't fond it anywhere.

I heard there was a bad wreck involving ejection. Not sure of the details, haven't seen it on the news.

there was an MVA, between HWY 29, and Pine Forest Road. Initial dispatch was for a head on collsion, with ejection. I was on another call at the time, so didn't hear all of the traffic on the radio.

I did hear one of the crews state that there was one pinned in a vehicle, I also heard a request for life flight due to trafffic. I know one 20 something year old was a "trauma alert" and I believe 2 others where transported as well.

Not sure if Life Flight flew anybody or not, nor the condition of any of the PT's.

Like I said I was on another call, and not entirely sure that all of the traffic on the radio i heard was even related to the MVA or not.
