Goldens are no doubt excellent dogs. A friend of mine showed goldens and from what I learned they are one breed that loves their family better than themselves. When I was a kid I liked the original Homeward Bound movie with the Golden Retriever. Anyway it is good for your family that they pinned him with the couch. The alternative could have been devastating for all of you.

?Mega -pretty pup. If Yogi is now full grown I bet he's quite a hoss. German Rotties have a look about them that scares most people away.

He's a great dog. My sister shows Goldens also. She has as of 2 weeks ago the #1 golden in the US. That crap changes every 24 hours so he might be like 10th by now. My dog's grandfather was a champion. I think other than paying the price for a handsome dog shows are crap personally. But buying a champion pup does help with the looks and health longterm. Then again I paid $1,500 for another champion pup that lasted 1 year in my house. I called the Golden Retriever Rescue and said come and get him before I shoot this F'r.

Sister-in-law's house got broken into off Olive 2 weeks ago. Stole most of her electronics except the tv's in the kids rooms. She had just brought home a new ipad she had won at work(some sales contest). Never got to use it. They stole it too!

We got broken into on Christmas eve while visiting with family. Broke into the house at noon. We had just put in an alarm. They busted in by breaking through the fence in the back. Stole my generator and tools out of the shed and then broke into the back door of the house. he set off the alarm, but ripped it out of the wall, then stole all my guns he could find, about a dozen of them. Left tvs. Luckily, my neighbor saw the truck while checking my mail so we gave the description to police who caught him coming out of a house down the street after breaking into it! Of course he had all my stuff, but it took me a few weeks to get the stuff back and 2 YEARS to get the guns back. What a joke. Plus it cost me about $1500 in damage as I had to replace my double doors out back.

Thank goodness for the alarm or I would've gotten nothing back as it would've been days before we even knew about it. Guy turned out to be one of Mobile's 10 Most Wanted. when I saw him in court I was shocked. Here was this white guy, about 5'6", 130lbs who was able to life a 18hp 42" riding lawnmower into the back of us truck without a ramp or anything. shows what "crack strength" can do!

Anyway, still waiting on that first restitution check! lol What a joke. I don't see why they couldn't let me go to his house and get fair value back. At the worst, let me have the truck he stole my stuff with! If nothing to get, let me whoop him a few times.

The alarm we got calls the police as soon as it's power source is cut. That takes away the ripping out problem.

Even though he ripped it out, it didn't matter. It just stopped the siren.
