more than one , I have options .
go to my safe room , down the bottom hatch , though the tunnel and out any of several spider holes .
then they are trapped inside while I am outside ,armed , behind cover , waiting for them to come out , and have reversed the element of surprise
That's frickin' beautiful!

A few of our liberals would just piss themselves and blame Bush for the Perp's financial challenges. Most likely the discussion would continue on how Obama care isn't costing anyone anything while sharing hostess Twinkies and Kool Aid.

HisName, I don't know you but reading your post I do wish I did. You remind me of the guy from the movie "Tremors" I think his name is Burt or something like that. He was my hero, but the more you post the more you win favor. And as far as an intruder is concerned, I am rarely more than 5 ft from a firearm of some sorts. About 95% of the time it is a lot less. I never answer the door without a "cocked and unlocked" pistol in hand. My family and friends know to tell me when they are coming by.

holy crap there big man, why in the world do you live in so much fear that your family and friends need to call you and let you know if they are coming by without you having to open the door being "cocked and unlocked"? i can just see my mom and dad calling me on the phone to say hey my son we are coming by, please dont shove your
'cocked and unlocked" pistol in our face. man i gotta know what you have been through. it must be bad.

No, nothing bad. I just refuse to be a victim. I don't have fences or barbed wire so my front door is my last line of defense. I have heard too many stories of someone answering the door only to become tied up, beaten, robbed or worse.

All I have to do is point, aim, and click. Gun stays loaded (no kids) and I would shoot (at) anybody that breaks in. If I don't hit them then they'll definitely have to clean out there britches. Besides, my dogs are like my kids and even though they'd love to eat a man I'd rather take my chances and a shot at the perp.

I am all about GUN CONTROL! 1. Steady hold 2. Sight picture/Aiming 3. Breath control 4. SQUEEZE the trigger! Crimson Trace is absolutely neccessary for close quarters low light situations. And unless you are a very cheritable person there is no use in giving away your position or broadcasting your intentions. brian.

lol Exactly, after all this talk on home invasion i did a little research, turns out none of the people from what i red had guard dogs, its a shame, my 19 month old doberman will lay his life down for me my girl friend and our wiener dog with no concern for his own safety, Well trained dogs and guns make this a safer country
