Crap!!! Look at that! Bet you a dollar to a donut that was in Alabama! That’s how watermelons are supposed to look. Grown by real Americans.

Wait a minute, I’ve been buying Chinese watermelons?
True story - I lived in Panama City back in the 70s. Whenever I would travel up Hwy 231 and go thru Cottondale, seems like every yard fronting the highway had a fruit stand in it.
I would sometimes see them as cheap as 5 for $1.
Now, does anybody want to hear an old man go on and on about 19 cent a gallon gas?

Hey OM, I bought gas for 17 cents way back in 72. Small town, 4 stations, GAS WAR!!! I can't remember the last time I saw a gas war.

And the best fresh garden grown anything is roadside summer time Rocky Ford (Colorado) cantaloupe back in the late 70's. It's not to be found anymore as Denver bought all the water rights from the farmers and it's all dry land farming there now.

Best damn cantaloupe you ever et!!
