Default Harley Davidson price info

I am thinking about buying a new Harley Electra Glide Ultra Limited. I have looked at a couple dealers and both have given me the list price + freight + doc fees and they come with in a few dollars of each other. I have not yet tried negotating for a reduced price. What is a reasonable discount for a new Harley, 2%-3%-5% or more or is the list price what everyone is paying.

Slim chance of dealing with a Local dealer. Have you tried Dothan? I've heard they are much better on price and throwing in bucks for accessories.

Was the one in Texas, Barnett Harley Davidson in El Paso?
I would check with them. It has been a LONG time since I was there but the owner was A+ in my book. Went on a ride and the weather was a bit colder than expected and he busted out some riding gear and started giving it away to rides that didn't prepare for the cold. Always been a class act.

I bought my 09 FLHTCU in Biloxi at Mississippi Coast Harley.

No Freight, No Prep, no Dealer fees.
Good guys to deal with and i did most of my dealing over the phone and took them the 10% down to order the bike i wanted, less than week later it was there and I picked it up.

I bought my 07 XL1200C from Pensacola Harley and paid through the nose for Freight, Prep, and some dealer fees that you can negotiate out. but good luck getting Freight and Prep knocked out of the price ontop MSRP....

When I was buying my 09 new I called every dealer as far north as the Kentucky/TN line, east to St. Augustine and Jacksonville, south to St. Pete and Tampa, and West to LA/TX line and up to north Mississippi..... not many places would deal except St. Augustine H-D, Ocala H-D, and MS Coast H-D. Ocala H-D was real shady about the deal he would make with me though and wanted me to come down before dealing so I couldn't shop his price, which would have been about MSRP with a few small dealer fees but without freight and prep. MS Coast was upfront right away.... Granted this was February 2009, so times might have changed as far as some dealers becoming more desperate, but MS Coast H-D hasn't really changed their prices.....

From MS Coast H-D site: "We have the 2011's on the floor, all priced at MSRP. The only thing we add is the State Tax and MS. Trauma Fee, so you pay what the Book says."

barnett was the one in texas, tge man that got killed had 3 stirys, datona, ftlauredale and one other. They were going to send one to my house without me going there, with my credit score. All i had to do was sign papers thru mail. I couldnt do that now, after i retired i bought everything i saw and 2 or three of others. Its worth a ph. call to call around, since times are hard now.my friend saved a few thousand in texas.
