Default To the guy who hit 17th ave Overpass!!!!!!

I had just got to the 17th ave launch around 11:00pm and Bam motor home pulling a trailer hit the trussel and ripped his A/C off the top along with some kind of canopy part or something that folds out, and just kept right on getting it. I waited for a sec and they did not return. Me and another fellow at the ramp assisted with clearing some of the debris as cars were screaming by and nailing pieces of the wreckage. I saw the PPD come up and told them what I saw, and they hall but looking for a wrecked motor home. So I went on out water was to rough came back. all in all still an interesting night for a stop and go trip. also there are plenty of motors that looked to be fine still sitting there by the overpass that we cleared out you may want to go get what you can.

Yea Jason I just picked up that cover and the other part figured I could do something with it or give to someone to help them out. There were several motors and allot of broken pieces, It was the A/C unit also got ripped off and desinigrated he was moving pretty good barely braked for a split second so I say he hit it going 25 to 30. 1st time I actually saw it happen live. I can only imagine how bad off they were to not stop. I could see the wife waking up in horror and the drunk husband saying I will fix it.... looking up through there new convertible motor home.
Hard to make an insurance claim when you leave the scene isnt it? I think it will be a heck of a repair for sure. Sad but true.
