Default Got "the finger" today--probably deserved it too but--

My right turn signal did not turn off after I changed lanes this afternoon. Scooter trash gave me the finger.

OK, I can't hear the dang thing and can't see the blinker in bright sunlight.

Question? Is there some sort of loud dinger I can put on it? I am getting deafer by the day.

Then newer vehicles made today do not make a loud clicking sound when the blinker is turned on.
You need to trade your vehicle for an older American made truck, then you will hear your blinker again.

Capt,

This is a sign.

We are getting old. Drive conservatively, think about day time and good weather only.

Thinking of my 88 year old Dad here. He quit driving about a year ago. Suddenly he gets almost daily visits from daughters and grand kids just to see if he needs anything.

He DOES a little feel less of himself because he does not drive, but he LOVES the attention. And driving was "stressful", a left turn across a couple lanes of traffic was something he would avoid. He'd turn right merge left, then look for a good U-turn or left turn into a parking lot then finally go in the correct direction.

He's 88 years old, the final straw for him was a very small fender bender (his fault) on a rainy day.

At some point it gets the better of us...

LISTEN to your kids and grandkids...

I don't mean to insult. I expect the same advise in a few years.

Two options that I can think of. First one is get fitted out with hearing aids and the second would be to install 12 VDC piezoelectric buzzer in series with the turn signal flasher (might be a bugger on modern model cars/trucks).
