Default Going to Baton Rouge for the game...anyone have pointers/tips on how to get tickets there?

Wife and I are going to the LSU-Gator game tomorrow without tickets. Never been there, but understand that getting tickets should be fairly easy, although not very cheap. It's our anniversary (13 years) :letsdrink and we just decided this morning to make the trip. Anyone familiar with the stadium who can tell me generally where theGator fansections are? Any other tidbits/advice greatly appreciated!

The visitors section is in the southeast corner. It's going to be a madhouse. Good luck getting tickets and carry lot's of cash. You'd be lucky to get tickets now for less than $600 each. Walk around holding 2 fingers in the air and someone will try to sell you tickets. I'll be enjoying the game in my lazyboy with a cold one. Geaux Tigers!!!

LOTS OF CASH MAY BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT! YOU MAY NEED TO CARRY A LETTER OF CREDIT FROM YOUR BANK TO GET IN TO THE TIGERS DEN! I WOULD NOT WEAR ANY ORANGE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. GOOD LUCK AND GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!oke

I know it will be pricey, but folks are selling regular tickets in the 600 sections for $300-$400 per pair on the LSU and UF student boards - I'm just thinking if we can be patient and wait until right before the game starts (or even, better, after kickoff) we could probably score some tickets for a 'reasonable' price. Maybe I'm delusional - gonna find out.

hey when we go to a game and need tickest we use stubhub do an engine search for stubhub go to sec and click lSU tickets in good locations for a price. or do as stated above go to game wait til about 5 mins before kickoff and start asking for tickets most of the time tickets drop way down as like auburn florida tickes last week. got there and started asking for tickets 3 hours before game most were like 250.00 for bad seats waited til about 5 mins before game bought 30 yd line tickets for 75.00 each wow you can outlast their pocketbook. if he doesn't sell he is stuck. remember that pick out a guy with good seats and watch him from a distance if he sells out watch someone else you will do just find if you can wait i promise

Yep - our "gameplan" is to scope out 2 or 3 scalpers early on...watch them...wait...check their price...wait a bit more...check price again and repeat until we find seats for a decent price. Just scored a room in Baton Rouge 5 minutes ago, so we already have a place to collapse. I'm stoked!

Just enjoy the day and play it cool until about an hour before kick off. It doesn't matter what stadium or what game, you can score a pair of ticket for easily under 100. Done it for years AU/AL, AU/UT, AU/LSU, SEC Championship games and Sugar Bowls.

Have fun!!

I think the visitors stuffed in the upper deck arearound section 640-641 but not sure about the lower section numbers.
