Get a 40 or 45. I dont think 10mm is a good choice. just my 2 cents.

Id go with a .45 or 9mm unless you reload. 10mm is the perfect round but EXPENSIVE and hard to find.

I still am a 9mm fan, Id rather be shot at with a guy shooting a 10mm that only puts a few dozen rounds down the range a year then a guy shooting a 9mm that shoots a couple of thousand rounds a year.

10MM is nearly a DOLLAR a round and is hard to find. You can get 9mm to practice with at Walmart for just .20cents a pop any day of the week.

Default Choice

I have a G23, Taurus 9mm, and a couple of 1911's. If I wanted a bedside, it would be the G23. If I wanted it for shooting pleasure it would be a 1911 in 45acp. The 9mm is also a fun pistol to shoot. A Glock in .45 acp would also be a good choice IF you don't reload. Reach out and touch all of them and buy what feels good.

I was about to buy a new model 20SF with the compensated barrel from Miles at Tradewinds and then a guy at work said his deer huntin Buddy had a G23 for sale. So I bought it because it was priced right

I'm going to shoot it for awhile and see how I like it.

has anyone ever shot a glock with the compensated barrel ?

appreciate ya'lls help !
