[QUOTE by =bamaman08;567384]I can't believe how all these Florida fans have no dedication to their team.

WOW!, 4 pages of the U.F. game opinions.
Well, let's give Bullshark an "A" for consistency.
-And Bamaman08, you hit it on the head. Some of the U.F. fans on here are fickled.
-I believe that the Gators and Meyer will do well. Have we forgotten that we lost both our Offensive and Defensive Coordinators, Mullen and Strong ? duh.
-Yes, Tim Tebow was a GREAT college football player, but is even a greater human being. And have we forgotten that Meyer coached the Gators to a N.C. with Chris Leak as QB ?
Did I miss anything ? ( like maybe throw some May Wests out there to some Gator fans)
10-2 or 9-3 is my prediction for UF
ps) fsu looked mighty weak yesterday. Reminded me of the 52-20 spanking that The Mighty Gators handed them in the N.C. game.
Go Cocks !

Some gator fans don't understand the fundamentals of football and it shows in ignorant posts. Its all about execution. When the players execute, the play calling works. We still don't have our complete OL back together and we are playing 15 freshman. Our d is sick and will be even better when Will Hill gets back. Hopefully, most of our bandwagon fans start attending games in Tuscaloosa from now on.

Wanting spurrier back? Unbelievable.

No we haven't forgotten any of those facts but, you do not loose all the personel and coaches and still not miss a beat. That is all I am saying. I do not have pipe dreams and look thru rose colored glasses.

I agree with you on coaches Lobsterman, BUT the Gators have PLENTY of young talent. And because of their youth, probably 2-3 losses.
I was pleasantly surprised with the play calling by Adazio, ......much improved.

Beware of the Gamecocks this year. They looked good yesterday.

Just because you HOPE Austin won't be as good as or even better than Strong was doesn't make it fact, cane. Just because you pray that our young studs won't play as well as our half dozen draft picks doesn't make it so either. Sometimes, believe it or not, coaching changes can improve a team.

I doubt that there are many Gator fans that would ever want Spurrier back, I sure wouldn't.

NO bandwagon here , I remember the 4-7 days too ... YES we lost both coordinators and arguably one of the best College Football players of all time , there is lots of Talent , but obviously the Team is not cohesive yet ... the Defense has played pretty well , especially the secondary , and Will Hill hasn't played in the 1st 2 games ... the Offense came to life a bit in the 2nd half , and may be on their way to some continuity , Brantley hasn't broken out yet , but he's been steady with very few mistakes , none that puts the team in any trouble ... Conference play starts next week , and that will be the first true test for a young team ... I will be in Knoxville for the game and will update from the stands

Lord I hope not! I hate bandwagoners that know nothing about the team...

Here is what I am saying in a nut shell. Youth does not replace experience , yes we have some great tallent and they will continue to improve but you don't replace as many top notch players and coaches and not skip a beat. I am not slamming or speaking ill of anyone, but plugging in a few guys in different positions and basically replacing the majority is two different things entirely. I'm not bummed or even disapointed, just realizing we have a long long way to go to get back to the caliber were were in years past and it will not happen overnight. Experience is the best teacher.
