Default Furniture store on T Street

Anyone ever bought anything from the Furniture store on T street?

I have been by there a few times and see there stuff listed on Craigslist.

Just wanted to know if it was good stuff and what the prices are like

I haven't been there is years but I used to go to some of the antique stores, and like any other antique shops, I saw good and not so good deals. I also saw some junk. If you are looking for good used furniture, I would think Craigslist would be your best bet and then buy directly from the owner. I needed a leather sofa for the man cave and I found one almost new on the website. It could not have been any nicer even if I bought it directly out of a furniture store. Italian leather with zero cracks or marks. My only drawback was that it was cream colored. I would have rather had brown but for the price can't be beat.

Just wondering.....I need a new couch and maybe a recliner. Been searching craigslist but nothing really that fits what I am looking for so far and if you go somewhere like Ashley or Rooms to go, there stuff is so damn high.

One of the problems with buying a piece of furniture at retail is that the value decreases to almost nothing when you leave with it off the showroom window. So I guess choose carefully for something you plan on keeping a while. The store that I love best in town for furniture is LaPlace. The teakwood is beautiful, but they don't give it away.

Yep value decreases on furniture. Microsuede is my favorite to clean. Cleans up real nice and easy to maintain

We buy almost everything from either Craig's list or through stores such as that one on T St. Wife and I are into eclectic stuff so it suits our style and it's really easy on the pocket book. I have one piece that I bought at an antique store in Florala for $75, spent about a week of evenings refinishing and it was appraised at $1900. The secret is "don't get in a hurry".

Big Lots has their main store where the old Circuit City used to be. I haven't been in there but wife says they have a lot of furniture.
