For me, it was the bananas. The banana plants grew much bigger and produce way more peppers each "cycle".

I'll have to try one next year. They are a little milder aren't they? What recipies do you prefer them over jalaps (or are they interchangable???)?

Yes, MUCH milder. I like them the best with sandwiches, I just eat em raw like a pickle. I'll eat em like that with most anything like burgers, pizza, salads, etc. I canned fours jars of them with hopes they come out like those peppercinis (sp?), like the ones that come in the corners of papa johns pizza boxes. We'll see, I haven't tried any yet. As for the jalapeno, I like 'em best cut in half long ways, stuffed with a little taco meat topped with shredded cheese and in the over until the cheese is melted, hmmmmmm. I also cut them up into round slices and can them as well to use later on almost anything. I like peppers, can you tell!? By the way, I bought two banana peeper plants and that was about one and a half plants too many for two people.
