Default Free organic jalapino peppers..Garcon Point

I have more than I can handle....already made hot sauce, frozen up about a gallon of peppers, and supply a couple neighbors! Have about a dozen right now......more coming daily. I'm on the east (Blackwater) side of the point, about a mile north of Dickerson City. HELP! 1st PM gets 'em (but there will be more).

Let me know if you're coming into Pensacola for any reason ... I'll take as many as you're willing to give away

I got a bunch too if someone wants some. My Jalapeno and sweet bananas did VERY well this year. I have already canned four jars, ate a ton, given away a ton and they are still growing like weeds. I'm in Cantonment and work downtown P'cola and would be glad to give someone a sack or two if they want them. Warning, the Jalapeno are HOT!! I love hot stuff, but these are almost too hot. I had to cut out the seeds just to make them eatable and they were still hot. As far as the person asking for tips, this was only my second time growing them and I bought those singles from the big box stores. Mixed a little manure, fertilizer and my Granddad gave me some goat manure to throw in and the rest is history.

Peppers are gone (but more coming fast .....DOH!). Yeah growing like weeds describes them perfectly! Super easy to grow! Got mine from a big box store as well. I've learned 4 plants is WAY too much for 2 people!!! They love sandy soil. Bugs seem to hate them. I always discard the seeds....lots of hot, no flavor. I'd rather add a second pepper (flesh only) if I want to pour on the heat.....more flavor that way. Same concept when making hot sauce (Homemade Hell). They are still making babies, and I already have way more than a years supply. It's still fun to go out and check/pick 'em, but enough is enough! Just can't bring myself to throw out good home grown food! Hence the "adopt a pepper program" ..LOL!
