Was also thinking that somebody that's stealing 100k + in timber is probably not just carrying a pocket knife or doing it alone....

The cops should go visit and obtain copies of their work order or paperwork indicating what and why they are there to harvest.

Call the county. They probaly have an extention office with a timber person who can help you too.

But the timber company might only be accessing the timbered property via your property. So maybe nothing more than trespassing??? with damages from the equipment?

The Paper company up in Brewton AL. cut about a 1/2 Acre of my Friend propery by mistake. He got $3,000.00 dallor, plus clear the land off and replanted it. He got paid what they called double stumpage for the tree.

Trying to keep it short, but I gave the government the right to enter from Jan 1 to June 30 to look for UXO’S as the land was an old army training camp. Someone jumped the gun and someone else forgot to mention that they wanted to cut 5’ wide trails through the timber to where 30’ wide squares will remain for mine sweepers to use. Duh!!! It ain’t happening… So really, it’s a good thing they screwed up because now I will be rescinding that right of entry, “Johnny on the Spot:” The Fella said we only pushed one lane through your property and then we stayed off your property and went down the powerline. WTH, I own the land the pwr line is on and it happens to be my dad’s favorite spot… Talking to my brother-in-law, it sounds like they cut a lot more than one lane, but I won’t know until tomorrow. Waiting on Moma to get home now so I can kiss her bye before I leave… I’ll update when I get back. If my land wasn't so darn close to a subdivision, the lanes would be welcome, but adding lanes to an existing powerline is a poacher's paradise IMHO. Hey, thanks to everyone for the quick inputs...
