Default Dog Beaches

Is there any beach around here, wether it be on the bay, sound or gulf, that allows Dogs? Anywhere in Perdido, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, or Gulf Breeze? I am wanting to take my dog fishing with me and let him play in the water but dont want to get a ticket in the process.

The bay bluffs park allows them. Just don't get caught there after dark. It's on scenic hwy.

Near the rail road tracks by the bluffs there have been some people killed. I think that there is some drug dealings there.

The Bluffs are fine. Stay away from the Chimney or you may make a new friend. All of the above are OK for dogs. I've also taken mine swimming at the Shoreline park in Gulf Breeze.

I believe that the Bay Bluffs park on Scenic Hwy officially closes at sunset. They recently installed a tall pole with monitor camera for the parking lot. Cars there after dark could be ticketed or towed by the PPD. All of the boardwalks and the chimney along Scenic are known as magnets for those of an "alternative lifestyle" to score...

The dog park at the Bayview Park on Bayou Texar has a dog beach -- but I wouldn't want to fish there (or eat any fish if you do).

There was something in the newspaper months back about trying to make a stretch of beach dog friendly but I haven't heard anything else about it.
