If you were not requesting a script for narcs. & having to wait a year then change Drs. If it is for narcs then he had a problem with your request

A Doctors business is what he refers to as a "practise".

He will practise what he thinks he knows. If does not work, he gets to practise some more.

Doctors practise what they think they know on a person they call a patient. Not a customer.

So you have the "Patients" to sit and wait for a Doctor to "Practise" on YOU.

Think about it.

The boat mechanic has a business he calls a business and performs work for customers, he calls customers.

If his skills in his business fails, he usally fixes the problem for free.

Most of us need both.

So simply put, have patients with both.

Wasn't trying to be a wise guy. After being in the health Care field for many years most Drs. will not write more than 30 days for alot of aliments. Usually they require a regular office visit for new scripts of this kind. Now if we are talking maintence meds that is different. ie blood pressure

Do what I did when I fired my doctor. I made an appointment to see him. When he came in and asked about my problems I told him all of the issues I had with him as a doctor and let him know I would not be returning. It was worth the $15 copay.

Back when I was a Controller we had to take a flight physical...every year. Well I'm new to the area (about 5 months) and my physical came up. Went to the doctor (only flight physical doctor in town) as it was scheduled at the time of my shift and then we went to work. I sat there for over a hour and a half, when I was called back the doctor started my physical and asked how I was doing...Bad question...I politely unloaded about the wait time ... He called my supervisor, and wanted me to be evaluated..get this ..in Memphis, TN 150 miles away.... Each year I had a appointment the supervisor would beg me to go with the flow...I'd tell him...I think I'd like a paid vacation in Memphis this week.

Friggin judges are the same...Court at 7PM and he didn't show up till 8:15....
