Has a restaurant manager ever had to call the cops because your wife was creating a disturbance ?
If not, then did you make a fair comparison ? That answer is obvious.

I agree that that his response was an impulsive (and in Monday morning quarterbacking could have been improved upon) REACTION to the unlawful act (battery) that was FIRST committed upon him.
"WARNING, DANGER WILL ROBINSON" ! DO NOT EVER place your hands on a cop. bad idea.
And you say that the incident was his fault ? hhmm...And who was it again that the manager called the cops on to begin with ? And you say that it wasn't her fault ?

Retired LEO. Looks like cop was being easy on firs girl. Trying to cuff her. She was resisting and he was taking it as easy as he could. Second girl went over the line. Lucky she didn't get hurt worse. I would have done the same thing.

If a cop can't handle a chick, an 8 year old with a stick, or a kid on a bicycle without using extreme force then they are in the wrong line of work and should be held accountable. These guys are getting waaay too out of hand.

Ya she should go to jail and get the book thrown at her but she won't. All because she was open hand slapped by a uniformed police officer. It amazes me how differently two people think. That's not a shot at you it's just a statement. It's black and white to both of us.

I would have agreed 30 years ago. Not saying its the case here, but these days there are plenty of "women" out there who are more than willing and very able to throw down.

It looks like the girl who they were attempting to detain first sure took advantage of the fact they went after her friend and got the hell out of there.

I'm not saying he shoulda slapped her...... but I understand.

Like stated above- an easy call to make from a keyboard.

I damn sure wouldn't want to be a cop in Atlanta!
