Guys, y'all are a little late. We discussed this, and I found and posted the original video, over a week ago. See here.. https://www.pensacolafishingforum.com...ad-ohio-93367/

And, if you want to read all 19 pages of what this is really about, see here... http://ohioccwforums.org/viewtopic.p...dcaf&start=270

I just didn't see any reason for a duplicate topic, that's all.

BOTH Officers made HUGE mistakes.

The Officer in question has "ANGER" issues for sure.

Fired, I dunno...

TRAINING? For sure... and REAL training, not just a day of "sensitivity" training. The Officer who went crazy needs some REAL evaluation about his ability to be a Police Officer.

The "victim" deserves an apology from the department and hopefully a sincere apology from both Officers.

No way...this guy reacted like that to a guy with the permit in his hand, in front of his dash cam, he knew he was being taped. Imagine what this guy may have done if he was behind a dark house, he has no business with a gun, badge or any authority over anyone. This is what gives LEO a bad name and makes it hard for the good ones to do their jobs. Fired is just the beginning, criminal charges and probably a civil suit for him and his agency are in order. THIS IS NOT A POLICE STATE, WE ARE CITIZENS...NOT SUBJECTS.

This wanna be drill Sargent went about this thing completely wrong his temper could have escalated the situation into something it didn't have to be, you cant just run around threatening to put lumps on peoples heads and think its going to be okay, Calm the hell down dude nerves criminals do dangerous things when you make them panic.

I would have a different attitude if the driver smarted off to the police. I do think that they put up with a lot of crap. What I saw was that the driver was treated like a 2nd class citizen. The filming did not indicate that he deserved the treatment that he got. If the policeman was scared pulling him over, think about the poor guy being handcuffed and threatened to be killed with a gun to his head. I think that he is owed more than apology. At least the city should pay to have his britches cleaned after begin scared to death.
