Default Custom Cardboard?? Help

Is there anywhere in Pensacola or surrounding area that sells custom cardboard boxes? I need to ship a big mirror and cannot find anything that is close to the size I need since its an irregular shape.

I would try a mom and pop shipping center. I used to use one before I moved down here that charged $10 plus shipping to make a custom box and package it up. All I had to do was drop it off. I parted out some ATV's so the fenders were odd dimensions and it saved me the headache. I have also made custom boxes for items myself down here. Ups store prices are outrageous. Just make a template if you have to do more than 1.

Thanks....I just found a template website and now just need to get some big boxes and I will just do it myself. Was looking online and some companies charge about $3 a box with a minimum of 10 order, which isnt bad, but then the shipping is like $50....They are nuts!

how or what carrier do you plan on using?

You might be better off constructing a box out of 1x4's and 1/4" plywood or similar.

If shipping via UPS, I'd have them do it. Those azzhats will rip you a new one if you claim insurance and they didn't package it.

I too was going to say, UPS will deny any claim. Even if it is inside a foam filled pressurized steel box that is welded together.

I had good luck shipping a 60 x 30 beer mirror way up north by building an all wood crate all screwed together.
Vis FedEx ground.
