Default The Cummins saved my life last night

Well I was headed back to Auburn from the Thanksgiving break, and was hit head on by a F-150. He came into my lane, clipped the rear of the truck in front of me and then slammed into me head on. Luckily neither me nor my dog, who was in the back seat, were hurt. The guy that his me didnt have a seat belt on, and slammed his head into the dash. But other than that there were no injuries. I'm afraid that my truck may be done, but I'll know more tomorrow. That was the first wreck I've ever had, and it was on heck of one. I attribute me being alive completely to my truck's size and shear weight. I won't own anything smaller ever in my life.

That's one of the reasons I drive a full size truck myself. Glad you were not hurt!

I'm fine man. I walked away without a scratch. I was on the phone imediately with my dad, and then shortly later my mom and girlfriend who were in the car together. They called everybody for me. The scary part was that I couldn't find anyone in town to get me. I finally got in touch with a friend who just got back into town.

They think he was drunk. I'll get the police report tomorrow. So I should know then.

Man that stinks. Glad you walked away. I know when I had my F250 there wasnt nothing but dump trucks that I was worried about. People dont realize just how much difference that 3/4ton frame and diesel motor make in a truck. Plus the 6" lift and 38's didnt hurt either. You going back with another diesel? I miss mine but $.50 more per gal just didnt pay for itself.

Yea after walking away from this one I don't know if I can drive anything else. I found one in Bay Minette that I'm going to look into soon. The worst thing is that I still haven't heard from his insurance, so I'm stuck driving my old CJ5 that dosen't have doors, and it's cold and rainy up here.
