Default Craigs list

Is there a special email you have to use to respond to someone? I was gonna check on an item and it said it didn't support hotmail and wanted me to make a new e-mail account. IS THIS RIGHT?????

How do you get in contact with someone selling something?

I have Yahoo as well, but I do not have it set up on my computor, so when I click the link on the Craigslist Item page, it does not go to it. What I do is just copy and past the link from the craiglist item for sale page into the address box on a a new e-mail on my yahoo page. Works fine and takes about 2 seconds. It probably would work fine with your hotmail account as well.

just copy and paste the important part of the email address into your " composed mail " from whoever you use.

case in point

I use Gmail. this is what I get when I right click and copy the email address from this persons add.

mailto:[email protected]?subject=GE%20Profile%20C ountertop%20Convection%20Microwave%20Oven%20-%20%24325%20(Milton)&body=%0A%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fpensa cola.craigslist.org%2Fapp%2F2352767554.html%0A

cut it down to this and you can send it with your email , works for me
