Thought you might enjoy these taken by the lovely Dahne Morris of Perfect Touch Massage. Enjoy.
You can see in several snaps where the wind was gusting out of the North about 30 mph, and misting back out into the Gulf forming some GREAT tubes. If you click on the pictures, some programs reopen them in another window and expand them. Last edited by Boatjob1; 06-24-2012 at 08:12 PM. |

Glad you guys are enjoying the pictures. A little more to this story. We were seated at the Grand Lagoon Yacht Club having breakfast this morning and we actually saw the waves cresting and mist all the way from the Yacht club balcony. This means that the waves were so high you could see them across the ICW, AND across the Barrier Island. This is what gave us the idea to run out and get pictures. I have lived here most of my life but have never seen anything like it. When we arrived at Johnson’s Beach, the main road traveling east was closed and we could only get to the Pavilion. I hope the road doesn't wash out again. A few facts now that I have more time. Enjoy.
