Default Class-B License?

Who has theirs?
How hard was it to get?
Just a written test?

Just got my class B. I took the written test at the dmv. A month later I took a pre-trip inspection class at Buffalo Rock (the pepsi place in p'cola) on a Saturday and took the driving/skills/inspection test on Sunday. It's not hard, you just have to study.

What he said... not hard as long as you go over the book. If you are a gear head, should be easy.

Wirelessly posted

Got mine in 1995, upgraded to class "A" 1998. None of it is bad, learn your pre-trip by heart a know where they are located on the truck. Don't take the without air brakes route, very few class "B" trucks don't have air brakes.

develop a system / routine for your pe-trip inspection, always start in the same place every time. I started at the drivers front corner, and worked my way around. It's been a long time, so I don't remember it all anymore, but develop a system, and practice it / do it till its is beat down deep in your skull !
