Default Check This Out...amazing plane from Lockheed Martin

The F-35-B

THIS IS THE MARINE CORPS VERSION OF THE F-35, AND THEY CAN'T WAIT TO GET DELIVERY!
THE 'A' MODEL GOES TO THE AIR FORCE, AND THE 'C' MODEL IS THE NAVY VERSION.
I'VE GOT A HUNCH THEY WILL BE FLYING THESE BIRDS INTO THE LATE 2030'S. NO
ONE IS TALKING ABOUT FOLLOW-ON AIRCRAFT.

Short video of an amazing plane from Lockheed Martin.

Now if the idiots in DC approve funding instead of a bunch of social programs we have a winner.

GREAT AIRPLANE, in theory... WAAAY beyond budget and time frame.

It might not last much longer. How much should we spend to "fix" a plane that is not working.

I question how effective these planes would be against swarms of drones with modern air to air missles targeting them or their tankers.

They only carry a couple of missiles and a couple of hundred rounds of ammo.

Jim
Read an article the other day about these aircraft. Lots of kinx to work out before being delivered to Eglin. But the local impact is already being felt. Bring on the jobs! PNJ today

[JOBS FOR AMERICANS]]...Could this parts thing some day be a security breach??? i really dont know??? seems like outsourcing for our military,,,,,,,,,,,read a few weeks ago that CHINA has been able to get the plans on how to build this aircraft....
