Default Charlies Chicken Outlet Robertsdale AL

Anyone ever go here ????? A buddy of mine was telling me about some commercials he saw on t.v. that says they have GREAT deals on chicken. Might be worth a drive to fill deep freezer.

No, but I'll be looking into it now. This is the first time I've heard of it.

I'd be a little skeptical on how broadly they cast that net...."chicken". I have several members of my family that are in the chicken growing industry and they have cautioned me repeatedly about buying discounted "chicken parts". But I guess USDA Grade C But Edible is still protein...

I'm just looking to buy my dog's food from there. I've looked everywhere for some chicken necks, but can't find them anywhere. This looks like it'll be worth a look anyway.

Dropped by there over the weekend. They carry some of the same chicken served at hooters, wings, and checkers. We picked up a case of boneless chicken breasts for $22 and it had around 30 pieces in it. Have not cooked any yet but looked the same as the frozen bags you get at winn dixie or walmart.

maar, got a weight on the case? I have to buy "per pound" to compare... Now $50 worth of discount leg quarters would make them dogs love me even more.

I will track down a number to call them tomorrow.

Hogdogs; if you're anywhere near crestview, there was a store that I used to order chicken necks from. They were in the 20 cent per pound range, which is cheaper than any thighs you'll find. I had one bad experience with them, so I quit buying there, but that was a few years ago.

I feed mine thighs from pic n sav now, if you have one of those. They're 49 cent per pound. I'll be trying this place when I get in from work. I'll let you know what they have if you're looking for food for your dogs.

tresr, Yeah I can get my quarters for -.50 per usually at our local owned store here.

But for -.35 per, I could make the drive worth while... I prefer the quarters hands down for meat to bone ratio. We used to feed 50 pounds of necks per day when I was a care taker for a guy's exotic cat yard.

But when he could get a free injured cow or horse, he was much happier feedin' that rather than the necks.
