yeah looks like the took an old WWI plane and put a cardboard box over the cockpit cut out some holes and fiberglassed it all together.

That sub pictured is a wet sub not subjected to any pressure the dry part of it is a bubble in the top where your head and upper part is. You still have to use a regulator and tank and are subjected to decompression like a normal diver. It would be quite safe. If the motors failed just swim to the surface with the scuba tank.
