When ever me and the ole lady go out of town, she always checks Guy Fierra Diners/Drive Inns and Dives places....There is one in Biloxi/Gulfport area that is not a tourist trap and have purty good food, just don't remember the name.

This is always a good idea, I got sent to Perdue University for a class once for work and did this and found the best local breakfast and burger joints I've ever stepped in.

Thanks everyone. Keep them coming. We will actually be staying just across the bridge from Ocean Springs. I am somewhat familiar with the area but a lot changed since the big one hit I was more familiar with the Waveland area back in the day before K took our camp house out.

Favorite pub: Kwitkzy's Dugout in Ocean Springs on Government. Lot of good places to eat there.

Booyah! I have had their crawfish cooked every which way and it's all always good. It's a hole in the wall place, but it's nearly impossible to beat when it comes to ice cold beer and a platter of bugs.
