do they get bigger than this? this thing is huge, ive never seen one this big or heard of one

Not sure how big they get. However, I was trolling outside the pass two years ago and saw a head from a distance. I thought it was a diver at first, but didn't see a boat near by. So I headed in that direction for a closer inspection. The darn thing surfaced next to my boat and scared the shit out of me. It looked as big as a VW bug. One big ass turtle.

Sorry guys, it is photoshopped. Why ? A turtle that large is old & has barnacles & scars on it.
Plus the shadows of the guys & turtleare not correct. Pro photographer since 1994 |

I thought we saw that a while back and it came out that it was a movie prop???? If it was real the next picture the guy could be missing a hand.

Cool show though. I have heard of them getting as large as a VW though.......pretty cool |
