Default The BEST dinner i have EVER had

last night my wife and i went to the grand marlin in pensacola beach. it was great.

we started with the lobster fingers, theres only 2, and they are small, so plan for that. they were absoulty amazing! i almost gor another order of them. then i got steak (16 oz cowgirl ribeye), also amazing. my wife got the parmisean flounder, and OH MY GOD, it was the best, BEST, fish i have EVER had! then we finished with the lava cake.

its not often that the entre was better than dessert, but this was defentaly one of them.. haha

then we got a few mixed drinks at the bar, hardly any alcohol, and listened to the band

i wanted to write this to tell everyone how great the food, and the service, and the enviroment is at the grand marlin, and i cannot wait to go back!
please check them out!

Default Grand Marlin

I consider myself a very difficult customer as far as food goes (love to cook) but can say I never have been disapointed at the Grand Marlin, I always order the special of the day, so far so good. Service is fair but not upscale, adequate for the standard of the place apart from the barman at the outside bar(curly dark hair with major attitude !). I feel our area is not really blessed in terms of consistently good restaurants. In my book probably less than the fingers of one hand, but would count the Grand Marlin as one of them.

A buddy of mine manages the place, I have not been able to make it for dinner yet, but did go for drinks and appetizers and must say the Bar B Q shrimp is the best this side of New Orleans !!!!!!
