You could probably end the contest before it ever started! Just bribe 3 of the floor employees to guide the other contestants to whatever they wanted to pick out for weapons and wait!

I have never seen a Home Depot employee who really knew where ANYTHING was located in the store so those other people would eventually die of starvation looking for their "weapons" and you could go home with the cash prize! .................... There IS a prize for the winner isn't there? ............................ Other than just being able to walk out of that store, ......... heck I can do THAT every time I go into an HD!!

Maybe a case of Spam or a charter fishing trip on Chocktawhatchee Bay??

The wasp spray is a great idea. Most accurate long rang weapon mentioned.

I'd go wasp spray, crow bar (or shovel) and roll of seizing twine.

#1 as much wire as i can get
#2 wire cutters
#3 lawn mower blade

would use wire cutters to put wire into power box and wire up every rack, shelf, or anything that can be touched so when somebody touches it...it fries their ass....use lawn mower blade as needed on others...or just hide in a fridge or big dryer

One package of LARGE zip ties (48 inches)
One Buck 119 style knife or, at minimum, a 3 1/2-4 inch lock back folder (buck 110 size)
One roofers hammer

Why? The Zip Ties make a nasty and hands free garrote and would be my primary weapons (10-25 per pack)
Drop one of these over someone's head and snug it down real good and let go...

With the advantage of surprise, I am dirty cuss with these.

I think the estwing roofer's hammer looks very useful on both ends.

BTW, What the heck is the prize? I mean you want us to consider slaughterin' 9 human beings and no Grand Prize mentioned?

And what is even worse... We are actually considerin' the possibilities...

I think they should bring back gladiator style fights for death row inmates. Charge $1000s for admission, pay per view, etc. All the profits earned can be used to pay back the cost of incarceration, and any left over could be given to victim's family. It really would work. Think of it as a 10 man free for all in home depot, the prize is you get to keep living.

a roll of wire to make a trip wire and a drywall ax. Nothing more, id just wait atop an isle until somebody tripped over the wire and push heavy shit off the top shelf onto them as they lie there. The ax would be for hand to hand.

I wouldn't need any weapons at all, just a good hiding place. Only thing is make sure that the other 9 people are Home Depot employess. That way you can find a hiding spot, usually at the help desk. Because we all know that Home Depot employess can't find anyting, and they would end up killing each other, and you would be waiting by the help desk drinking a soda, and eating some beef jerky.
