Congressional Research Service (CRS)says that$2 billion per week is spent on the Iraq war. McCain has said he is willing to stay in Iraq for the next hundred years. With the state of our economy how can we really continue to do this?

As a 17 year old I will already be paying for this war for along time to come.

About Obama, if he beats out Hilary and runs against McCain in November I will vote for him.

You may not realize this, but being in Germany, Japan, Korea, and all over Europe is very different than being in Iraq and Afghanistan!

Obama is a good "PUBLIC SPEAKER", but that is about all he has got going for him. He's CHARISMATIC & easy on the eyes. With that being said.... I'd vote for a mute before Obama if I thought he would do us a better job. My vote will be with the patriotic, prideful, good ole AMERICAN candidate where I KNOW where his values and interest are. You guys can roll the dice if you wish, after all it is a free country.

Which candidate is that?

Personally, I think McCain is the best, but since he started kowtowing to the Bush fundamentalist crazies I've lost a great deal of respect. Obama is brown and untrained - a lightweight, if you will. Hillary is probably the best and most qualified candidate we've seen in years, but she carries plenty of baggage.

When McCain was being badmouthed and ruined by Rove and the Bush machine during previous campaigns, I was disgusted. I continue to be disgusted by Bush and every single part of his administration. Where McCain stands up against the fundy religious nuts and sees the reality of our global situation I applaud him.

I'm at a loss. I think McCain is the most moral and most experienced. Hillary is the smartest, most savvy and the meanest. Obama is a car salesman anointed by people none of us here agree with because he's unknown and "kennedyesque" which stinks cause I think Kennedy was a dirt bag.

I wish one of the candidates were real. That one would come out and announce plans that limit our foreign wastefulness, get us out of Iraq without deserting the Iraqis, incentivise or subsidize investment in alternative fuels via the tax system, stop illegal immigration and deal with those who are already here efficiently. Really, its simple. Stop borrowing money, end illegal immigration, get a plan to end the Iraq carp and get us the hell off the oil company plan.

I could do it, but I've gotta fish and drink beer. Unfortunately, none of the candidates are worth milking cats.
