The No .14 Broncos gave up only 152 yards in their 19-8 college football victory over No. 16 Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 3, in Boise, Ida.
Now 152 is a pretty darned low number. Boise State might be expected to keep some of their other opponents down like that -- maybe a UC Davis or an Idaho.
But Oregon? The Ducks scored 41.9 points per game last season. They averaged 484.5 yards per game. They were second in the nation in rushing, with 280 yards per game.

WDE!!
I still wouldn't bet on Auburn beating Bama and I am not an Alabama fan either. Auburn (and Oregon) for that matter would have both gotten the short end of the stick against that super-pumped South Carolina team (on that day).

Dude you said it. Fannin is KILLING me with fumbles. He has excellent hands, but everytime Newton hands him off the ball he is going to fumble what seems like 40% of the ball. I don't care how good you are at running people over, juking, cutting, spinning, catching, etc. if you can't hold onto the ball and finish the job. If I were the coach, as much as I like Mario, his ass would be on the bench an awful lot lately.

Back to the question at hand though, I don't even want to jynx my team by talking about this game yet. We still have two huge games left with Georgia and Bama, then a potential SEC championship rematch with South Carolina. I feel like I'm going to lose a lot of sleep and hair between now and then. One week at a time, boys! War Damn Eagle.

I love how the Bama fans have to give their biased $0.02.

While we're looking at how we "barely beat" some unranked teams, let's also look at how we beat Arkansas, South Carolina, and LSU. Convincingly.

Because if you're going to play that card, Arksansas had yall whipped the entire game and yall barely squeeked by them; yall LOST to South Carolina, (who have we lost to yet? anyone? can anyone help me out here?)

I agree woody,I just got carried away.
Comparing SEC schedules to WAC schedules is like comparing rugby to golf.

This is what you posted: "well maybe you should schedule someone that is worth a damn. lousiana tech. come on... i want boise to play a oregon or auborn. or even florida state. im sure they will get hurt bad"

I was simply showing that they played one of the teams that you said that you wanted them to play, and beat them. How is that lame?
