and the ladies that you find that like a man that can cook with the hours that you will be working are bar sluts that have no future that are good for a one night stand and thats about it. Once they figure out they will probably never see you in the light of day since you are always working they wont want to have anything to do with you.

Since I love to cook where do I sign up for the bar sluts that will leave me alone after awhile? That really is convenient during hunting season.

I guess I must be old school here boys I been in the food service industry for 34 years and yeah I use to bust my ass and miss every major holiday, stay up late and tried towear out myfrench knife on those bar sluts you mentioned. Hey, you know what, I kept my nose to the grind stone made money for da man. And kept my eyes open. Now I work for the worlds largestcontract food company. I have a six figure salary, outstanding benifits and never work weekends or hoildays. You can be anything you want to be in the food sevrice industry. Your only looking atone side of this industry not the whole can of tomatoes. I did'nt go to any culinary school I just worked my way up and kept my options open. AskGus Silvos he's a frickin millionaire. And so are alot of other chefs who chose to apply their talents and don't mind payin the dues.

After watching Hell's kitchen that would turn off anyone in becoming a chef. At least the chef can always poison his a$$hole boss oke

Hells kitchen is pretty much what it is like in a fast passed boot camp kitchen. I use to work for Gus so dont really ask me about him. But I believe hard work and dedication in any job will eventually pay off for anyone no matter the job. I have always acted like a giant sponge everywhere i have worked learning everything i possibly could at that place then moving on and keep challenging myself whereever i go. I try to do the best possible work that i can challenging myself with tasks and duties to give 110% every second i am there. But for those whom arent use to it, like i said before this industry isnt for everyone.

I'm in the market as well. I really do love the fast paced balls to the walls kitchen... there's no place like home!
